As a renowned MDU specialist and panel contractor, Telstra engaged UCG to assist with the deployment of this network. Our scope included all operational activities to install and connect Telstra fibre from the joint to the premise (including land access, contractor management, customer engagement, civils, cabling, splicing, testing and commissioning).
Over a period of 18 months, UCG surveyed, designed and constructed over 260 brownfield multi dwelling units and connected over 3,000 premises. Each project was unique and required bespoke solutions to retrofit fibre distribution terminals and other network devices inside each premise.
